Breaking News: The Wonder Years is now streaming on Netflix….HOW DID I MISS THIS!!

maybe because my netflix account was frozen, cause the credit card expiration date changed and I just fixed it.

oh and it’s on Amazon Prime as well, which I am a member of and only recently realized that I could watch streaming TV and Movies on, I gotta start paying attention. 

Now, aside from Beverly Hills 90210( which coincidentally was why Netflix suggested the show) The Wonder Years is my absolute fav, I could watch it all day long. We all know that it hasn’t been released on DVD because of the amazing soundtrack and all the rights to the original music.  And lets face it that’s much of the reason that I love the show, 

Of course I start watching it, and WHAT, that is not Joe Cocker’s voice in the opening!  It just doesn’t have the same feeling (insert sad face here). And is that Daniel Stern….I don’t really think that sounds right?   So I immediately navigate to some key episodes to check the songs out…First- the one were Kevin and Paul both have birthdays on the same day and it’s Paul’s bar mitzvah and at the end they play Bookends by Simon and Garfunkel.  This ep. never fails to make me cry.  The song was the same.  So far so good.  Next, the one where Kevin goes to the office with his Dad, and then at the end they look out the telescope, and in the background we here Blackbird by The Beatles; nope not the same.  And is it just me or did they take out tracks throughout the episodes. Alright well I could do this all day so…

Morale of the story, I am still very excited and will still watch it, however will not retire my ebay bootleg DVD’s until the show is released with full original soundtrack.  And why did they change the narrator??
